This 66 million year old Tyrannosaurus Rex Skeleton was found on Hell Creek deposits in the Badlands of southeastern Montana in June of 2001.

Triceratops are estimated to have reached some 26 feet long, 10 feet tall, and 6.1 tonnes (13,400 lb) in weight. A complete skeleton of Triceratops has not yet been found, but it has been well described and studied from many partial specimens discovered beginning in the late 19th century.

Aipichthys is believed to have been a predator of smaller fish. The genus died out during the Upper Cretaceous, leaving no descendants.

This is a truly massive marine fossil from the time of dinosaurs. Coming from Aptian-age limestone in Morocco, it dates to about 112 million years old.

Early Cretaceous birds from the lacustrine deposits of Western Liaoning Province are well known for their exceptional diversity, abundance, and degree of preservation.

Here is a fine shark from the Cretaceous sublithographic limestone deposits of Lebanon. The genus is extinct, but has a relative in the modern-day dogfish Triakis.
